Regular readers will know there’s a series of slightly clunky-looking Doctor Who adventure games out there which, for the longest time, appeared as if they were going to be given away free from the BBC website. Closer to launch (well, let’s be honest, at launch), they were revealed to be UK-only, and I had my say about the whole debacle here.
Anyway, now comes news that the international release dates are almost upon us and the game will cost “a small fee”. Well, let’s all hope that’s true. Charging real money for something that’s clunky-looking compared to “real” PC games, and which some 60 million people in the UK can already get for free is taking the piss for most of us, anyway.
